7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your user experience and to support our marketing efforts. When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate your activity with other personal information they or others have about you, including your email address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to that email address.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use our website. Google may process data in the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG).
You can control cookie settings through your browser or through the cookie consent banner on our website, and change or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the website footer.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you may opt out of the collection of your personal data in compliance with GDPR by visiting https://www.rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out.
8. Google Workspace and Meeting Recordings
When you connect Google Calendar, Zell requests read-only access to calendar events. Zell uses this data only to identify eligible external meetings, schedule the Zell Notetaker, and associate a meeting with the correct Zell user. Zell does not create, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events.
For meetings selected for recording, Recall.ai acts as a service provider that joins the meeting and processes the meeting link, title, participant and timing metadata, and recording media needed to provide the service. After Zell successfully imports the recording into its protected storage, Zell requests deletion of the recording media held by Recall.ai. Users can disconnect their calendar in Zell or revoke access in their Google Account at any time.
Zell does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and does not permit its service providers to do so. AI service providers may process meeting recordings or transcripts only to provide Zell features on our behalf and under applicable data-protection terms.
The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Hiring Assessments (Candidates)
This section applies if a company invited you to an assessment on Zell. The company that invited you is the controller of your data. Zell runs the assessment on its behalf as a processor. For the session recording described below, Zell is the controller.
What happens: you speak with an AI that plays a customer or prospect, not with a human. Your call is recorded and transcribed, and the transcript is scored by AI against criteria set by the company. The recording, transcript, scores and feedback are shared with the company. The AI does not make hiring decisions; people at the company decide on next steps.
Data processed: your name and email address, your voice recording, the transcript, scores and AI feedback, and technical data such as browser, device and error logs.
Session recording: to find and fix technical issues, we record your session on the assessment pages with PostHog (EU hosting). Text typed into form fields is masked.
Legal basis: the company processes your data to assess your application (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The call recording and the session recording are based on your consent, which you give by starting the assessment (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Service providers: we use the providers listed on our Sub-processors page.
Retention and your rights: your data is kept until the company deletes it or you ask for deletion. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data and object to processing by emailing hey@getzell.com or contacting the company that invited you. We handle your request together with the company. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Data & Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
